[2015/09/08] Failure Report: Issues with SPIKE Checkout and dashboard functionality.

From 8th September 2015 at 9:00PM (Japan Standard Time) until 9th September 1:00PM, some functionality in the SPIKE system failed to operate as expected.

Updated functionality was released to the public SPIKE system.

2015-09-09 12:00PM (JST)

Issues in the release were discovered, and failure cases were confirmed.

  • SPIKE Checkout
    Some attempts to complete a purchase resulted in non-responsive Checkout form, where orders could not be completed.
  • Dashboard
    The (Sandbox/Live) switch would sometimes fail to update the information between presented to the user.

The SPIKE system was updated with fixes for the above problems, and measures put into place to prevent reoccurrence of these problems.
